I have gone into

  1. Windows macOS Web Go to File Options Proofing and select AutoCorrect Options. On the AutoCorrect tab, select or clear Replace text as you type.
  2. Check out the instructions below for steps to change the autocorrect list behavior, and thus disable automatic bullets and numbering, in Office 2013 programs. In Outlook 2013/2016: From the File tab, click Options. Select Mail and click the Spelling and Autocorrect button. In the Proofing section, click AutoCorrect Options.
  3. WPS Office allows you to change the default English (US) spell check to a different language. Currently the software supports 11 languages, which include English (United States/United Kingdom/Australia), Spanish (Spain/Mexico), French, Dutch, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), and Russian. You can also add new dictionaries to WPS.
Tools > AutoCorrect Options > Options tab

In the AutoCorrect opitons section, click the “AutoCorrect Options” button. The AutoCorrect dialog box displays with the AutoCorrect tab active. At the top of the tab uncheck the boxes for the options you don’t want Word to correct (shown in the red box below). If you’re done making changes to these options, click “OK”.

and unchecked Wps Office AutocorrectWps Office AutocorrectCapitalize first letter of every sentence.
That didn't work.
So I went into Tools > Options > Language Settings > Writing Aids and unchecked Check capitalization.
That also didn't work.
I don't understand what the problem is here. If I uncheck either or both of these - and really all of this should be under one option alone, no one should have to go hunting in several places - then it should do what I tell it to do.
I realize that this is a volunteer thing and that's fine. Still though, it is very frustrating when you have the same types of options spread out all over the place and you still can't get it to do what you want.
*sigh*Office
Okay, so how do I Officereally turn it off? I'm in calc and it is imperative that it stops trying to capitalize everything. I also need a way to turn the feature on and off easily and quickly without jumping through hoops because obviously there will be documents and spreadsheets where it is needed.
